You are an Overcomer through the love of Jesus!

What is it that can overcome you if you’re a committed to our Savior Jesus Christ? In the midst of all the uncertainties and the circumstances, all we need to do is put our trust in the love of God.

In the love of God is the will of God for us to be protected against all odds and to overcome all the odds.
Be encouraged in this scripture, In everything we have won more than a victory because of Christ who loves us. I am sure that nothing can separate us from God's love--not life or death, not angels or spirits, not the present or the future, and not powers above or powers below. Nothing in all creation can separate us from God's love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord!” Romans 8:37-39.

Is God concerned about the 2012 elections? 40 days to go. Has God lost interest in the affairs of America?

The countdown to the 2012 elections from today is exactly 40 days. Two days ago, precisely on September 25 as I prayed about the upcoming elections and listened to the Lord, this is what God spoke back to me "Let every man do what he wants to do, I am still God and I sit on my throne."

As an emissary of God to the nations, I take particular attention to His mood and emotions, and not only the words He speaks, so I persisted communing with God for more insight into this short answer.

With such a response from God you will notice that God did not show much interest in the election subject I raised for discussion with Him.

If you read our books you will see that the Lord usually spoke at length about several issues we brought before Him, and in line with the commission He gave us. He instructs us in details about His will being the destiny humanity should pursue. Therefore the only times God spoke very little means that He is not pleased.

It is a fearful thing if God has no interest in the affairs of His creation. As the Ever Concerned God, who is always concerned about His people, His word and His name, if He becomes less concerned about us, it means we have gone astray as a nation, and as such, we need to quickly rise up and correct our ways.

The upcoming elections are very critical because of the precarious times the nation of America is facing. Bluntly put, no man can save America. This is what we as a nation should be pondering on, and place our political ideologies and convictions aside and pray to God in accordance with the prescribed solution for nations in crisis in 2 Chronicles 7:14 "if My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

I do not need to brief you about how America as a country is built by God for His divine purpose. Having travelled to other lands as a missionary, I have heard time after time, America being referred to as "Gods' Own Country", so if the people of America have forgotten who they are, that’s too bad! People in other countries know the USA exactly as God spoke in that scripture, "if My people, who are called by My name."

Why has God lost interest in the affairs of America, you will find the answer in the actions of King Jeroboam in 1 Kings 14:7-9,  "Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, for as much as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,  8.  And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes; 9. But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back."

We all know that this election is about two parties or two ideologies so if the above scripture describes one candidate as such, how about the other candidate? Let us look at Jeremiah 17:5-7, "I, the LORD, have put a curse on those who turn from me and trust in human strength.  6. They will dry up like a bush in salty desert soil, where nothing can grow.  7. But I will bless those who trust me."

So according to these revelation, I have painted a true picture of the two candidates, one decided to put God behind him and is going without God; and the other is without trust in God, rather trusting in or would be trusting in human strength, the arm of flesh.

This the true picture of the upcoming elections which is why the nation of America will have to rise and pray to God for divine intervention so that God will become once more concerned about America and have His way to declare His glory, working with the will of whoever comes to power.

Understand this: if the nation does not pray, someone with the wherewithal, the ways and means can remain in power or come into power, and it may not reflect the will of God. This often happens in human affairs; whereby men accomplish their desires without God.

There is a great possibility that either of the candidates if elected may not acknowledge and lean on God and this will be a disaster, considering where America is right now. However let me quickly add that with God all things are possible.

Also let us be encouraged that "the king's heart is in the hand of Jehovah as the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He will" Proverbs 21:1.

God is always looking for people He can partner to do what needs to be done. When we pray God will choose the right candidate who will listen to divine counsel and turn to Him for guidance.

I want to encourage you to PRAY and SEEK the face of God on behalf of this great nation, so that God will intervene and have His way and His will.

May the will of God be done in America as it is in Heaven.

WHOEVER CALLS UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD GOD SHALL BE SAVED Romans 10:13
3 days Crusade @ Salvation Army Chapel Hagerstown MD
 19 - 21 August 2012

Men need to be saved from many things, such as Redemption  from condemnation into salvation and membership of the Kingdom of God, Affliction, torment, snares, devices, difficulties, bondage, problems.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Romans 10:13
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.  Romans 10:12

Calling on the Lord is for all times.
The Apostle Paul made this promise long after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ which tells us IMMEDIATELY that Calling on the Lord is very relevant today as when it was mentioned in:
i. Genesis 12:8  “And he moved from there to a mountain on the east of Bethel. And he pitched his tent with Bethel toward the sea and Hai on the east. And he built an altar there to Jehovah, and called upon the name of Jehovah.
ii. Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD.  Genesis 13:4
Iii. And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.  Genesis 21:33

Calling and Praying is the same with a thin divider.
Is calling on the Lord  the same as praying to the Lord. Let us look at what  God says: “Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you,” Jeremiah 29:12, this scripture clearly differentiates the two.

Here we see that calling and praying is the same but with a thin wall dividing them under the same umbrella. So if praying is a front wheel car then calling will be the 4x4 gears that will help get through tough terrains as the Spirit of God explained to me.

Prayer as taught by our Lord Jesus follows a pattern of Adoration, supplication, Forgiveness thanksgiving and praise but then we would realize that calling on the Lord has no pattern because it is a GENUINE outburst of cry to God.
The thin dividing line is that calling has no pattern but prayer must follow the pattern Jesus taught¸ “therefore pray in this way: Our Father, who is in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name.”  Matthew 6:9

The beginnings of Calling on the Lord.
The main objective of Satan going to deceive Adam and Eve is to bring a separation between them and God so that communication will be cut off. God already told them of the consequences of disobeying Him; they would be dead, in other words cut off.
So when they  disobeyed and God came on His normal visit, they couldn't see Him, but he spoke to them, and note that they even heard Him easily then because they were still in the Garden; in His presence ( in focus and in tune).
Out of the Garden they became more of the flesh, less of a Spirit, so there came the choice of  either maintaining communication with God or doing same with flesh which Satan was controlling because of his sack from heave
The first account of calling on the name of the Lord can be found as early as Genesis 3  “And to Seth, to him also a son was born; and he called his name Enosh. Then men began to call upon the name of the Lord” (Gen. 4:26).
In Hebrew, the name “Enosh” means “frail”, “mortal”.
By the time Enosh the grandson of Adam was born,- it was clear that men could not do without God, Satan had lied to them that they could do it without God so men began to cry out and call out to God, whom they couldn't see and who they thought was far away.
Through his human life experiences , Seth came to realize man's weakness. He therefore named his son Enosh, indicating that man is weak, frail, and mortal. As for ourselves, so long as we have no serious problems in our lives we may consider ourselves quite strong and capable.
When we call on God He responds immediately because the soul is distressed either for redemption or a revelation, because He is a God of Mercy and Compassion.
Definition of Calling: To “call” both in Hebrew and Greek words means to cry, to utter a loud sound, call out, call upon, call upon someone for aid, or to invoke.” It is to call a person by saying his name aloud.

Jesus and the Prophets Called on the Lord.
Calling was the order of the day, very common with our predecessors.
Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel among those who called on His name; they called on Jehovah, and He answered them.  Psalms 99:6, Mar 1:35-36, Mark 14:36.
